Pussers 15 Year True Aged Rum

A classic British Navy Rum beloved for its rich and pungent "rumminess", Pusser's 15 recently underwent some updating, now being made up entirely of rums from Guyana's Demerara Distillers Limited, including an even higher ratio of the beloved wooden Port Mourant pot still. In addition, while it previously contained a fair dose of sugar, they have bottled it without any added sugar or flavorings. A welcome change. 

The nose shows a burst of Demerara brown sugar, molasses and caramel.  The palate offers leather, tobacco, nutmeg, clove, and a hint of that brooding Port Mourant hogo, with a subtle finish.
