Quinta do Ermizio Vinho Verde

This white wine from the Vinho Verde region of northern Portugal is a blend of hand-harvested Louriero and Trajadura grapes grown on a single estate with minimal intervention. After pressing, fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks using native wild yeast. Malolactic conversion is then blocked and the wine rests in the stainless steel until bottling. The result is a light, fruity, slightly herbal wine that's great on its own and pairs well with seafoods and cheeses.
