Aged for 8 years and 7 months, cask 2183 is a Bourbon whiskey made from a mash of 72% corn 18% rye 5% wheat 5% malted barley. Bottled at 119.4 proof, or 59.7% abv. A classic bourbon profile, with a punch of woodsy vanilla and candy corn initially, followed by hints of mint, sarsaparilla, and juicy stone fruit on the midpalate. Finish has a bit of red hots heat and wood shining through, with a reigning in of the sweetness with just a touch of tannin.
