Redwood Empire The Hyperion American Whiskey

A limited time offering from Redwood Empire, The Hyperion is named after the tallest known tree on earth, a 919 year old Coastal Redwood measuring in at 380 feet. The inaugural release is a blend* of bourbon, rye, wheat whiskey, and single malt aged 7-14 years and bottled without chill filtration at 110 proof. The nose offers scents of walnut, apricot, toasted wheat bread, and sweet barley sugar. On the palate there are flavors of molasses, fresh baked wheat bread, stone fruit, sweet cream, and baking spices. The finish leaves one with notes of wheat toast, cinnamon, malt, and orchard fruit.

*The single malt component is Redwood Empire's own grain to glass single malt. The other components are sourced from distilleries in Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee
