The new Rowan's Creek, now fully distilled, aged, and bottled by the Willett distillery, fulfills the expectation for unexpected set by the old bottlings. The signature spicy musty quality that Willett excels at is there, but it is met with an equally robust character of florals and citrus oils, a delightful surprise. Like the evening of a bright spring day, lightly dusted with cinnamon. A hint of smoke descends on the finish, with cedar and stone fruit sat on the porch in a post-prandial duet sung in perfect harmony. Bottled at 50.05% abv.
