Russell's Reserve Single Barrel Bourbon

The Russel’s Reserve line from Wild Turkey is curated by Jimmy Russel and his son, Master Distiller Eddie Russel.  For the single barrel release, premium barrels are selected at just the right age and bottled without chill filtration at a robust 110 proof.  The individual barrels will vary slightly, expect to find the characteristic Wild Turkey musty oak strong on the nose backed by scents of sweet caramel and tobacco.  Sipping reveals a full bodied whiskey with sweet caramel transitioning to rye spice, leather, and tobacco.  The finish leaves flavors of caramel, oak, leather, and dark fruit.
