Product details
An elegant, soft-spoken, but very distinct bitter aperitif, Salers is as beautiful to drink as the bottle is to look at. It has an earthy vegetal note that is complemented by hints of citrus peel, mint and anise. It is made from the roots of a plant in the alps and is distilled with an assortment of herbs and matured in Limousin oak casks. Salers's subtlety may not jump out in just any cocktail, but the unctuous complexity will make sure that you build cocktails around it so it can shine, like our B&B White Negroni.
- Refreshing & herbaceous aperitif which tastes great over a full glass of ice.
- Great flavor, perfect balance.

This is a refreshing & herbaceous aperitif which tastes great over a full glass of ice. It also taste low ABV, so much so that I had to check the label. This is my new favorite easy sipping drink that delivers taste effortlessly & no hard alcohol.

Great flavor, perfect balance. Love with some sparkling water on top and a little citrus, in a white negroni, or shaken up with Cocchi Americano and lime juice.
I enjoy this aperitif as an ingredient in a cocktail. Would I drink it alone with tonic Probably not.
If you don’t like Suze, this is a few steps down from that.
I love a good gin martini and, even better, a good Negroni. But most of my family and friends are not gin drinkers. So, when I came across the beautiful Night Flights cocktail (that called for Salers Gentiane Apertif), I thought… “maybe” Well, the jury’s still out. Now I’m searching for the right gin - but the Salers is a keeper.
