Product details
First introduced in 1991, Rare Breed is a small batch blend of 6, 8, and 12 year old barrels bottled uncut at 116.8 proof. The classic Turkey profile turned up a notch, Rare Breed presents rich flavors of baking spices, black pepper, caramel, and musty oak.
Wild Turkey is an absolute institution in the American whiskey world. The modern version of Wild Turkey was named in 1940 but the brand really took off after Master Distiller Jimmy Russell joined the distillery in 1954.
- One of the more approachable and drinkable cask strength. Daily sipper.
- Toasted oak and citrus on the nose, oak and vanilla on the palate. A balanced and tasty Bourbon!
- Honestly my new favorite! Can't wait to go back and buy another!

This is a great weekend semi special drink for me, I find it opens up nice with two rocks.
I’ve been savoring my bottle of Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Decades, but it’s too hard to find for it to be a daily sipper. I was excited to see that BB offered Wild Turkey Rare Breed at a relatively lower price point.
Toasted oak and citrus/orange on the nose, oak and vanilla on the palate, nicely coats the tongue mouth. A balanced and tasty Bourbon!
Honestly my new favorite! Can’t wait to go back and buy another!
