Angeleno California Amaro

Fantastic and local - we love making all types of spritz's with this one.

Great w sparkling water, ice and some lemon juice

Moderate-to-high sweetness. Mild bitterness. Citrus-forward, with some subtle herbal/botanical undertones. This works great as a substitute for orange liqueur (cointreau, dry curacao) in drinks like a Mai Tai, Margarita, etc. It also makes a decent Paper Plane riff, substituted for Amaro Nonino. Goes great on ice with a bit of soda water too, or in a spritz. Really versatile amaro, and super approachable, due to the relatively low bitterness, relatively high sweetness, and relatively citrus-forward profile. Anyone interested in dipping their toes into the wide world of amaro should consider this one!

This is a great amaro that is very citrus forward. Lends itself to amaro cocktails that include a citrus garnish like a negroni (gin or mezcal)

You need this. Best light bright amaro out there.

I've struggled with entering the world of bitters (on the amaro front) as an ingredient. It has taken some progression. I love that this isn't so bitter-forward that I can't tolerate it, the citrus notes make it wonderful. Picked it up when visiting in LA, so I do use it sparingly as I'm in the Midwest and can't easily replace it.

Picked up a bottle a while back after being drawn in by the lovely label, and of course it bearing the name of my native Los Angeles. Turns out it's damn good stuff and now it's a staple for the home bar. Try it as a Campari sub in a Negroni. Pares really well with St. George Terroir and Lo-Fi Sweet Vermouth.

Outstanding! This is a very nice citrus forward amaro with a good bitter balance. One of my favorites to sip. I substituted this for Campari in a Jungle Bird and it was more refreshing.

My wife's favorite summer drink was an Aperol spritz, but since she has tasted the Angeleno California Amaro she is a changed woman. It is also nice as a change of pace in an old fashion.

Very easy to drink and I used it in a spritz and before I knew it the bottle was empty. I would buy this again for sure.
