Angostura 7 Year Rum
A medium bodied blend of rums from Trinidad: a heavy rum distilled to a lower proof by only passing through a single column, and a more neutral distillate that has passed through all five columns of Angostura's multi-column still. Both are aged a minimum of seven years before being blended and bottled at 40% abv.
Vanilla and crème brûlée on the nose, with hints of honey and tropical fruit. Mouth-watering flavors of maple, vanilla, honey and toffee present a rich taste and lovely mouthfeel. An ideal cocktailing rum just as much at home being deployed in a Zombie as it is in an Old Fashioned, El Presidente or Rum Manhattan.
