Bedford Park French Antilles 6 Year Single Barrel Rum

This six-year-old rum from an unnamed distillery in the French Antilles was distilled in 2017 and filled into a American oak cask, maturing at origin before being shipped to Europe in 2021 and filled into a once used bourbon barrel. The profile doesn't quite fit the mould of a typical agricole style rum, with a more pronounced sweetness up front, with fudge, vanilla custard, popcorn, a soft floral touch, and a hint of anise on the palate. Bottled at 57.6% ABV.
