Beehive Distilling Barrel Reserve Gin

This barrel-aged gin is made by taking the distillery's Jack Rabbit Gin and then aging it in newly charred French oak barrels. These barrels held white wine (usually Chardonnay) and were freshly dumped. Beehive does all the charring in-house and the gin rests in the barrels for about nine months.

From the classic London Dry profile of the original, it takes a surprising turn, a mild honeysuckle fragrance and warming, honeyed flavor, with a spiced midpalate of cinnamon, vanilla and mild smokey notes. It finishes with sage and a juniper twang.
