A Spanish vermouth; herbs, walnuts, spices, et al are macerated in Macabeo wine. Like sherry, it is aged in a solera to impart deep character and consistency. The result is a nutty, concentrated, raisin-like flavor profile and a beautiful, burnt-orange color.
