A clean, classic example of Martinique Rhum Agricole. Crafted from the intensely aromatic juice of one varietal sugarcane, "Canne Bleue", this rum rests for just over six months in a stainless steel vat and is slowly reduced over time with distilled volcanic spring water before being bottled at 50% abv.
Bright aromas and flavors of fresh meringue, powdered sugar, cucumber and cane stalk with a supple, fruity-yet-dry medium-full body and a long, tingling pepper, sweet cream, talc, and wet stone accented finish.

Do this once:
1) open a bottle of almost any agricultural Rhum (Clement, Trois-Rivieres, ...)
2) open a bottle of any industrial Rum (Havana club, Bacardi, ...)
3) smell
Anybody can smell the difference. It is more than in the spelling. Rhum Agricole is a method using fresh sugar cane juice, Industrial rum is traditionally distilled alcohol, from sugar cane molasses. If you have been in tropical sugar cane plantations before, agricultural rhum will bring back memories.
I love this agricole style rum. It mixes great with other rims and it’s high proof adds a backbone to support other rums and flavors. Need to dry out or lengthen a cocktail- add a little of this!
