Dalmore Port Wood Reserve Single Malt Scotch

The Dalmore's Port expression is initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks, yielding soft vanilla and honey notes. The whisky is then apportioned between American white oak casks and aged Tawny Port pipes from W & J Graham’s vineyard in Portugal. The two parts are then brought back together to harmonise the flavours before bottling.

The result is a nose of sweet red berries, Seville oranges, plummy fruits and sticky toffee pudding, leading to a rich palate full of nectarines, creamy caramel, roasted chestnuts and Java coffee. The finish brings out plums, raisins, Sanguinello blood oranges and macerated cherries. Bottled at 46.5% abv.
