This is a much smoother, and slightly sweeter alternative to classic dry vermouth in martinis. It has been preferred by almost every friends I've tried it on save one who was hardcore into the classic, dry martini taste. Mix 2 parts blank vermouth and 2 parts Isle of Harris gin, then shake with a lemon slice for an incredibly smooth and lightly sweet martini!
Prefer the dry .
Blanc vermouth as a category is totally underrated. I'd use this instead of dry vermouth in most classic recipes that call for 'French' vermouth. Dolin is terrific an inexpensive--an amazing value!
