Fred Jerbis Amaro is made with a single alcohol infusion, as in the ancient pharmacopoeia. Most of the 16 botanicals used are collected directly from the local trees in Carnia, Northeast Italy: lime, mulberry, ash, cypress, birch and black currant. A bitter but fresh aroma, with a herbaceous but balanced persistence. It's light brown in color, completely natural, with a very low percentage of sugar compared to many classic amari.
Herbal, balanced and delicate, with deep, round flavours with a pleasant, bitter touch. There are also notes of cortex and buds, typical of trees, like in the undergrowth where it has just rained. Wet leaf and soft fruit touches are also present. The finish is light citrus. Bottled at 25% abv.
