Foursquare Exceptional Cask Selection Mark XXX "Penultimus" 15 Year Old Rum (57% ABV / 114 Proof) This rum marks the second-to-last chapter of the legendary ECS collection. Handcrafted in Saint Philip, Barbados, by Master Blender Richard Seale, this limited-edition release is a single blended rum combining pot and column still distillates. Making history as the first expression in the series to utilize Spanish Moscatel wine casks, the blend masterfully integrates a 15-year ex-bourbon rum with a dual-maturation rum aged 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels and finished for 5 years in ex-Moscatel casks. Fully tropically matured with zero added sugars or coloring, this non-chill filtered pour offers an intriguing nose of burnt brown sugar and candied orange, a dense palate of stewed tropical fruits and cinnamon, and a long finish of dark chocolate and wine-cask tannins.
