Frank August is a small batch (10-15 barrel batches) bourbon sourced from undisclosed Kentucky sources. It is aged from 4-5 years, and bottled at 100 proof. The nose opens with classic bourbon caramel and vanilla notes, backed up by fresh sweet grain and warm cinnamon buns. The palate brings forward the cinnamon and rye spice, with brown sugar and nectarine behind. The finish is gentle but lingering with sweet grain notes, and leaves you ready for another sip.
