January Spirits Genepy Liqueur

This small batch alpine-style liqueur is released once a year by New York's January Spirits. 27 botanicals are used, including Genepy, Sweet Annie, lemon balm, blessed thistle, feverfew, lemon verbena, red clover, and citra and centennial hops. It is sweetened with New York State honey and rested in Sauternes barrels for roughly three months before bottling. The resulting liquid is herbal and midly sweet, with notes of lemon verbena, mace, honey, and wormwood.
