Leopold Orange Blossom Cordial

This new spirit from Denver based craft distillery Leopold Bros is a delicious tweak to a typical orange liqueur.  It is made by combining a double pot distillation of Spanish blood oranges with one of neroli, an oil made from orange blossoms.  Belgian candi sugar is added to sweeten the liqueur.  Neroli is made near Rome and has been used for hundreds of years to make perfumes.  It lends a rich floral aroma to the cordial which compliments the vibrant citrus and vanilla sweetness of the liqueur's other components.  This cordial pairs beautifully with agave spirits and can be used in place of orange liqueur to elevate almost any cocktail.
