One of the most popular single malts, The Macallan 12 Year Sherry Oak is a beautiful example of sherried Speyside single malt. Fully matured for at least 12 years in Sherry-seasoned European Oak casks, this expression is presented without any added color and is bottled at 43% abv. The nose offers rich scents of candied citrus peel, dried fruit, ginger, and baking spice. The palate begins with flavors of raisin and sultana which are joined by sweet ginger and cinnamon spice. On the finish, rich oak and warming ginger linger with a touch of vanilla sweetness.
