This unique Amaro is based on bitter aromatic mountain herbs found at the foothills of the Alps. Made in Piedmont since the early 1960s with a neutral spirit base distilled from molasses, an infusion of over a dozen botanicals takes place, including gentian root, wormwood, yarrow, genepi, nutmeg, anise, cinchona, rhubarb, sweet and bitter orange, and more. The amaro is then aged in oak barrels before being bottled at 24% ABV.
