Padró Rojo Amargo is the most intense expression in the Padró & Co. vermouth range. Made with a double infusion of the brand's "rojo" and "bitter" vermouth botanicals, this vermouth begins with an initial infusion of high mountain plants characterized by small roots and highly aromatic flowers, which then rests for two years in chestnut barrels before a second botanical formula of roots and bark is added to give it a bitter and more forceful profile. Bottled at 18% ABV, this is vermouth designed specifically for mixology—engineered with increased bitterness and lower sugar to interfere minimally with cocktail craftsmanship while delivering exceptional flavor.

On the nose, zesty aromas of ripe orange peel with a subtle touch of cinnamon follow through into balsamic notes of clove and dried fruits such as apricot.
