From the pristine lagoons to the lush jungles, Isle of Fiji is an ode to the beauty of the Fiji Islands. This delicious rum is made using traditional techniques and local Fijian sugar cane. First aged in this tropical climate in bourbon casks, the rum is then sailed to the southwest of France for a second maturation in French oak casks. This double ageing method and Fijian distillation creates a rum with warm notes of exotic fruits and raisin. Distilled from molasses on column and pot stills after a 4-5 day fermentation, aged in ex-bourbon and Cognac casks. 98 points and Aged Rum Chairman's Trophy winner from Ultimate Spirits Challenge.
Sweet plantain, molasses, and creamy tropical fruits are pungent and distinctive aromas. Dark brown sugar is clean and sweet in the mouth, quickly enhanced by background notes of allspice, butter baked bananas, and soursop. Clean and focused, the funky flavors are precise and delicious.

Great value for what you get, and nice tropical funk to it (think Jamaica, St. Lucia, and Guyana all bundled together). Will definitely be making some rum punches with this.
I'm a little bummed that they sweetened this one, but that's the game with Plantation. Happy at least that they are forthcoming about it.
Haven’t mixed this lovely Plantation Isle of Fiji Rum into any of my standard exotics but it’s on the to-do list. Reminds me of an estery Jamaican gold rum with the tropical banana and pineapple flavors. Would likely stand up to a bit o’ coconut and complement lime-forward tonics. Maybe a simple daiquiri should start the cocktail menu, at the price point you can stand to explore more exotic concoctions. Recommend picking one up today from BB!
This is a great rum to sip on a weeknight, or mix into a tropical drink to switch up the flavor profiles, from say a sweeter Demerara rum, or a funkier Jamaican rum.
This is now my number one favorite rum to drink straight. Incredibly well balanced flavor thanks to the double cask aging. Well done.
We love all of the Plantation rums and this was no exception. Makes a nice Rum Old Fashioned!
I am not a sophisticated drinker who can talk about vanilla, spice, etc. I will just say that it tastes very good and that I plan to buy it again.
