A clear and bright tequila with a bluish tinge. As a result of the slow cooking of the agave, it has an aroma of green apple, fruits and citrus notes. There is a smooth herbal flavor with fine citric touches. Palate confirms the caramel flavor of cooked agave and a rich blend of fruit flavors, lightly specious with a very pleasant long lasting end. Bottled at 40% abv.

Pueblo Viejo has turned out to be my pick for a great value in a nice tequila cocktail. It has a traditional production process too. No autoclave here. I like that. My cocktail is three parts tequila. One part Tres Agaves margarita mixer. One part Coors light beer. And a two tablespoons float of fresh squeezed Velencia orange juice. This is important on the nose. For winter I also add one part Clamato before the O.J. and a sprinkle of black pepper. All over ice. Then have a top shelf sipper tequila in a tulip glass on the side. Make sure everyone has an ice water too. Cheers!
