Smokeye Hill Barrel Proof Rye Whiskey

Distilled by MGP in Indiana exclusively for Smokeye Hill, their rye whiskey, like their bourbon, features a four grain mash bill using heirloom blue corn, yellow corn, malted barley, and rye. The whiskey was aged at least five years before bottling without chill filtration at 130.2 proof. The nose holds scents of honey, butterscotch, dried fruit, and baking spice. On the palate, honey, caramel, cinnamon, and vanilla mingle with oak and peppery spice. The oak and spice linger through a lengthy and flavorful finish.
