This expression of Hakushu shows a fleshier side, pineapple and grapefruit on the nose, with a little fragrance of jasmine and osmanthus. On the palate, it’s fresh and lively with a hint of persimmon and a tickle of smoke.

I’ve been a fan of Yamazaki for years (and Japanese whiskey, in general) and the Hakusha 12 is no exception! There is definitely some similarity to the Yam 12, but with darker overtones. Great pour!

A difficult bottle to find in the states or even in Japan. So glad I got a bottle and at a good price. Excellent stuff and in my opinion is equal to, if not better, than the Yamazaki 12 year.
Like it very much but price kept increasing. Still remember a few years ago sells 50 bucks at Costco. Glad B B carries it.
Best whisky there is. I first had it in a restaurant and it was so good I asked for the bottle so I could take a picture of the label. Worth every penny.
So good Japanese are taking over the whiskey game.
