Straight or over ice, this stuff is like drinking magic.
Great daily drinker with just the right amount of smoothness and ABV. Sometimes I feel like drinking it on the rocks and other times just neat. Always great to be able to stock up and have a few on hand.
Nice and smooth
For the price and quality this a great whiskey. Its more readily available than the Hakushu 12z As a bonus, the bottle design is nice for repurpusing when the bottle is finished.

Excellent whiskey
Perfect liquor for someone wanting to venture in to Japanese whisky without spending a fortune. Obviously the age statement versions are incredible unique, but this is great for someone top sip or make in to their own Japanese style highball. Would recommend.
I love Japanese whiskeys. I really do. This one is magnificently delicate and easy to drink. That being said, this is not something I'm going to be reaching for all the time. In my opinion, there are far, far more unique and exciting whiskeys coming out of Japan, and that is what my palate gravitates towards.

Color: Amber
Nose: Oak, leather, caramel, straw
Taste: Salted caramel, brown butter, toffee, caramel corn, cereal milk
Finish: dry

Love this! I've been discovering new whiskeys and scotches over the past couple years and this one absolutely is on my "best" list...the body and richness is perfectly balanced for the flavours. It is on my Must Have list to keep on hand. Try it and you will agree...quality.
So smooth, just perfect. My favorite blend. Monkey Shoulder for mixing, Harmony for sipping, the perfect combo.

If you’ve never had Japanese whisky, I highly suggest this one. It has a bold taste but not too overwhelming. Perfection in a glass...my go to whisky.
