The B&B Negroni Cocktail Kit

Our platonic ideal for the most sacred of cocktails, the Negroni. We love all kinds of Negronis, and even have an entire club dedicated to our favorite twists on the formula. But when we want the most classic Negroni: sharp, bitter, rich, orange-y, and appetite opening, this is what we imagine. If you've come into the store and asked for everything you need to make your first at-home Negroni, chances are these three pillars, all from Northern Italy, are what we recommended, and we stand by them. 

Campari needs no introduction, and while we have many other favorite red bitter liqueurs, Campari stands as the center of any textbook Negroni. Cocchi's Vermouth di Torino is a benchmark Torino sweet vermouth, with notes of orange oils, dried figs, cocoa, and cola that deepen and enhance the bittersweetness of Campari. Bordiga's Occitan gin, also from Piedmont, Italy, has a simple profile, with assertive Juniper and a wonderful pronounced cardamom presence, lending a great spice to the Orange-y Negroni that is most welcome. All you need is some ice, and a twist of orange over the top of the drink - you are immediately living La Dolce Vita in a sunny piazza, welcoming what the evening will bring.
