Obtained from herbs, roots and barks prepared over a wood fire, then sweetened with honey from the Sibillini Mountains. Dry, bitter and warm. Powerful tannins countered by intense salivation at side walls of the mouth. Strong spices, rhubarb, sandalwood.

Justin E. Picked this up after reading about it in an old Punch article. This is not a minty or syrupy style amaro but a grassy and vegetal drink that on the front end of the drink has a grassy dandelion greens punch quickly followed buy a soft fresh rhubarb finish. First amaro I've had that I would say had layers of funk and is straight away my new favorite.
