Westward Pinot Noir Cask Single Malt Whiskey

$89.50

Born of the unique culture, climate and abundant resources of the Pacific Northwest, Westward Whiskey has been been a leading voice for American Single Malt for nearly two decades. Their process begins by brewing an artisanal American Ale from scratch, using locally malted barley, ale yeast, and a slow, low-temperature fermentation. They then twice distill in custom low-flux pot stills before maturing the whiskey new, lightly charred American Oak barrels.

The pinot noir finish bottling is a tribute to Oregon’s legendary Willamette Valley wine country. This cask-finished whiskey reflects the vibrance of the Valley’s signature grape while allowing the bold, robust notes of the whiskey to shine through. It begins with the original Westward American Single Malt, which is then finished for up to two years in French Oak wine casks from a handful of award-winning producers in the region. Bottled at 45% abv.
