Wild Common Reposado Tequila

Distilled at the Cascahuin Distillery in Jalisco by Master Distiller Salvador Rosales Trejo, this Reposado begins with roller mill and tahona extraction before cooking in brick ovens and fermenting both with and without fibers in open air stainless steel and cement tanks. The tequila is distilled twice on a copper pot and lightly aged in ex-bourbon barrels before bottling at 86 proof. Aromas include cooked agave, vanilla, cinnamon, oak, and caramel. Texture is surprisingly oily and flavors are robust with notes of roasted agave, caramel, vanilla, baking spice, minerals, and a bit of green pepper.
