Aroma rich with cloves, cassia bark, and dried fruit. Flavor is balanced, just the right amount of sweet and spice. Ginger, cinnamon, and allspice take the lead, from first sip til the lingering, lightly spicy finish. One of the few spiced rums worth sipping straight.
- Absolutely delicious, with layers of flavor throughout.
- Best spiced rum I have ever tasted.
- Well balanced and blended concoction, Love it!

I’ve been making my own spiced rum for about 5 years now because any commercially available ones were one dimensional and tasted a lot like someone had taken bottom shelf rum and added a tablespoon of imitation vanilla extract. I picked up the Chairman’s reserve spiced after reading a positive review and then promptly forgot all about it. Fast forward to last night, when I finally opened the bottle. Suffice it to say, I’ll never be making my homemade version again, despite it being so much better than the market leaders who shall go unnamed. The Chairman’s is absolutely delicious, with layers of flavor throughout. Served simply over ice, it has flavors reminiscent of a well made rum Old Fashioned.
This is a great spiced rum. Flavorful without being too much. Will definitely keep this as part of my bar.
Best spiced rum I have ever tasted. I bought a bottle when in Dominica while on a cruise.
My favorite spiced rum prior to this was Koloa spiced rum which is great but this spiced rum
is far superior. You taste the multiple spices without sensing they were just added.
They did a great job of blending the flavors with the rum. I love clove and cinnamon and allspice
and these stand out to me. This is great as a mixer but can really be enjoyed straight up
or on ice. I am glad that B and B Spirit Shop had this in stock and I bought two bottles.
In January we visited St. Lucia on a Caribbean cruise and toured the St. Lucia Distillery where they had a "Rum Buffet" for tasting. We liked the Spiced Rum and brought it home with us, since then it has become our favorite, the hint of coconut with the spices really sets it apart. A bit difficult to find until we found Bitters and Bottles, a great place with good prices and fast delivery.
Pairs with Fever Tree cola best
I've travelled throughout the Caribbean and always looked for a good, not great, rum punch, and haven't been able to find it. But I found it at home mixing this spiced rum with fruit punch. This spiced rum could be enjoyed straight, on the rocks, or with a variety of mixers. I my house, I never buy just one bottle, because when I have friends over it's the first bottle emptied, and the rest is usually carried away. It's the only spiced rum I've tasted that doesn't taste like rum with spices added, but rather a well balanced and blended concoction, Love it!
I believe this is the best spiced rum I’ve ever had. Fantastic for sipping, poured over ice, or in a cocktail!
Great for gifts too.
