Great all around rum and excellent in any cocktail that needs a balanced blended aged rum. If you see it in a store, buy it, well worth its price and far better than others in the same price range.
Great mai tai ingredient following the Smugglers Cove mai tai recipe:
3/4 fresh lime juice
1/4 ounce SC Mai Tai Rich Simple Syrup
1/4 orgeat syrup
1/2 ounce pierre ferrand dry curacao
2 ounces blended aged rum (Hamilton Jamaican Pot Still Black Rum 43, Hamilton Demerara86 Proof Rum)
I really like this one. It's dark and tastes chocolatey with notes of coffee. Tastes great in a Corn and Oil. Also elevated my Mai Tai
