The seventh batch of Glenallachie's fabulous cask strength series was matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons, Rioja barriques, and virgin oak casks and is bottled un-chillfiltered and with no added coloring at 56.8% ABV. The nose reveals notes of heather honey, dried fruit, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel, mocha, and treacle. On the palate - dark chocolate, figs, heather honey, raisins, cinnamon, plums, and hints of orange zest.
