A blend of MGP's high rye bourbon recipe, aged between 4 and 5 years and bottled at 100 proof. The nose opens with big rye spice alongside cinnamon and toasted brown sugar. There’s a lovely sweetness that’s akin to raisins soaked in brandy, followed by pine needles and apple brandy. The palate hits with red hots, then molasses cookie and baked apple sweetness. Oak character is present but very light. The finish revisits the pine needles, allspice, lemon zest, and darker, seemingly more well aged elements like tobacco and oak.
